I got my WW2 thin kerf in from Amazon, and made my first test cut with it in 13/16 red oak. It actually sounds different from other blades, and cut like butter. I'm impressed, we'll see how it lasts though.

Most people find it holds it's edge nicely. I got about 2 years of fairly hard use out of mine before sharpening...YMMV
I'm guessing you'll really love this blade if you've never used anything else of this caliber.Last edited by Knottscott; 06-28-2006, 06:08 PM.Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

Just after I got my BT-3100, I purchased a WW II thin kerf. Then using a piece of 4 x 4, I did a couple of test cuts with each the WW II and the stock Chinese Ryobi. No comparison!! The WW II was hands down the smoother, faster, & cleaner blade. Also did a couple of test cuts on plywood with the same results.Comment
