    Woodcraft tenoning jig -- thoughts?

Anyone have / use the WC jig?

On sale in July for $54.99. Seriously thinking about getting it. Any opinions?

I've been looking at it too. I didn't know it will be $54 in July. If others post positive comments about it, I'll seriously considering picking one up.

I have one and it is rock solid. It's the same as the older Delta model, the Grizzly and others. I didn't have it when I had my BT3K with the miter table so I can't comment on how it will peform in that mode.
I can say that it is more difficult to setup on a left tilt saw like the Ridgid, but is more or less ready to go for a right tilt like the BT. It's a heavy sucker and that's a good thing.

I have one of these tenoning jigs and have been using it for about four years. It does look much like the Delta version but I ahve been able to compare it side-by-side with a friends Delta and there are a few differences, primarily in the quality of the components and a little in the alignment department.
However, the "Knock-off" version is very useable once you get it aligned to the saw. Back when I bought mine, the instructions sucked big-time but hopefully that has improved since.
I have a review of this jig, along with some alignments tips at the link below.
For the money, not a bad tool at all.

Oh, I forgot to mention until Tom's post reminded me. The instructions still suck! Download the Grizzly instructions, they are much better.
Also, I had issues with getting it installed on my left tilt saw and called the support number. That's when I discovered that it's now made by Orion, who make the Craftsman zipcode saws. I consider this a good thing.

I have one of these Jigs

I bought mine last time they were on sale and I have been satisfied with it. I use in my miter slot table of the BT3K. It sure beats rough cutting tenons on the band saw.

All in all I am satisfied, but the unit is very heavy (I know that is a good thing) and cumbersome, and a pain to find a place to store. Other than that I think for the money when compared to the Delta unit it is a good value.

Couldn't find the manual on the Grizzly site. Any other source?
