    Stanley Plane C559 MP Help

    I just picked up, very cheaply, a 14" long Stanley Plane. Made in USA. Other than a little light rust it seems to be in excellent shape.

    What do I have, and is it worth the time to fettle as a user?

      You have a later made Stanley. Not the best planes made but they can be tuned for good shop users. At worst, use it to learn how to get the most out of a plane.
