I went to pick up my daughters this morning and stopped at a garage sale on the way to their house. I left with the following two pieces and minus only $30 The hose reel was $10 and has never been installed. The Bostitch finish nailer is a reconditioned model but for $20 I didn't think I could go wrong.

Nice.
Best deal I could ever find was some 8/4 walnut for 5 per bf air dried in somebody's garage for a few years. (I can get it cheaper and kiln dried else where)AlexComment

Yeah you can really make out good by shopping those but I just never have the time plus you seem to have to get up so early to beat the professionals.
Good going.

Excellent catch...
I'm in Hilliard...would have been worth driving all the way over to the other side of town for that deal if I did not already have a PC finish nailer.
I agree with the last poster as well about having to be an "early bird" for most stuff. I've found personally, however, that most of the stuff I am interested in no one else is, so it seems I find good stuff no matter when I go. Last sale in our neighborhood I got a Sears round head framing nailer for $5 and a Klein Tools electricians pouch/belt for $3.
