Anyone Use The Cutting Edge by Starco

Have any of you'all used The Cutting Edge by Starco. Was in my local Northern Tools store last week and bought a can off the clearance shelf. After I got home I had second thoughts before spraying it all over my cast iron tools. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Can't say as I've ever heard of it. Is there a list of ingredients on the can?

      Hey Sweendrv,
Thanks for the post. It only says that it contains "Emralon, a micro thin polymer that can reduce friction by up to 50 per cent." Don't have a clue what that is. It further states: "contains no oils or silicone and will not stain any surface. Protects against rust and corrosion. ... tools cut cleaner and stay sharp longer with less heat build up. It can be used on Routers, Table Saws, Planers, Band Saws, Jointers, Nail Guns, and Drill Bits." It is made by Starco Chemical of Los Angeles. I guess that it is worth a try since it contains no silicone.

Yup, silicone was what I was afraid might have been one of the ingredients. As long as its silicone free it probably will be OK to use. Although, it does sound like its made more for blades and such and not necessarily for cast iron surfaces like table saw tops or jointer tables.
