    tool stores

All the discussion that goes on here about tool stores, I've never seen anybody mention Western Tool Supply stores.
They are the American branches of our House of Tools. It apparently weas actually started in the US, something I wasn't aware of.
It looks like they have stores throughout the northwest and New England states as well as CA.
Are they not considered a decent store?
They seem to have lots of power tool repair parts for all the brands we love.
I know the prices on most things can't compare to Amazon deals that you all like so much.
    Just curious about reputation.

When I lived in Portland and only dreamed of one day having a shop, Western Tool Supply is where would go to drool over tools. You're absolutely right, it's a great store and the staff was great, even though I never bought much and drooled on the merchandise

I still get their flyers via email, and their sale prices are usually competitive with Amazon...sometimes.

If I didn't now live 1.5 hrs away, I'm sure I'd shop there.

That's what you get for moving to the sticks...seriously though, I envy you for your location. All those parks right close, salmon fishing out the back door.

YOU envy ME? If this location is so great, why did I get talked into driving an RV 600 miles to visit Banff, Jasper, Yoho, Glacier, and Mt. Revelstoke National parks last summer? With our 2 yr old no less! Those are just out your backdoor (+ a couple hundred miles give or take )

Seriously, it is beautiful here. Especially this time of year when it's warming up and the windsurfers and tourists haven't yet taken over (not that there's anything wrong with windsurfers...might try it myself sometime ...)

Been there and done that...4 yr old now.
Yes, I do have those places relatively close, but I live in Edmonton and the mountains (Jasper) are 3 hours away. I miss being able to see the mountains.
LOML has family in Pincher Creek, AB. Waterton park is less than 1 hour from there and we still haven't been to Pincher in the 6 yrs we've been here.
