New Filter for HF DC (?)

I was on the HF site today and noticed this cartridge filter kit for the 2HP DC. I'd never seen it before.

Do you suppose this is the Wynn kit remarketed by HF? It's kind of funny that you can get the whole DC for less than the optional filter kit!

I don't think its a Wynn filter (it has a cleaning handle). The canister is similar in appearance to the JDS, Grizzly, and Accura models.

Yes, canisters are expensive. I don't know why because its basically a poly weave or paper product. I think what they charge for a canister is a rip off but my health is more important. I have a JDS canister on my HF dust collector.

As noted the Wynn conversion doesn't have a cleaning handle. Also it is quite a bit cheaper for the conversion from Wynn than fron HF.

I question whether that handle is really on the filter, or on a cover plate. It also doesn't say the material.
