Rockwell Delta 8" jointer with a 66" table length. It is going to need some serious TLC and a better bse with dust collection. The original owner must have been jointing some long stock since a pair of these came with it.

Time and weather have taken a toll on them, but they were well made.

That's a find Pappy - you'll have fun restoring it, Be sure to post pics along the way. Does it run? Looks like my lathe project.

It actually looks like someone DID! But I'm sure he'll get it looking pretty in no time.

                    Thanks,

I downloaded a manual for this monster but it doesn't have complete specs in it. Anyone have a similar jointer that can give me a weight on the jointer without the base?

I could have it weighed, but I'm not crazy about the idea of loading/unloading it an extra time if I can avoid it.

Just curious as to why you need to know how much it weighs?

My official answer is 'a heckuva lot'.

If you have storage problems with that beast, I have room (actually will make room) in my shop. Just crate it up and I will send someone for it.

It hasd to go on a mobile stand. Just want to make sure it's stout enough to handle the weight.
