Portable Freud Router Table

I got one of the $76 portable router tables from Amazon a little while ago and was putting it together today. When I went to put the mdg fence boards on the adjustable unit, they rubbed on the table top. Anybody else have this problem? If so, what did you do? I can't get the allen bolts to turn to try to adjust the brakets. I suppose I could alter the boards.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is the second one Amazon has shipped and I'd rather not have to return this one too.

I just got mine last week too. Are you sure you have the fence pieces on the correct sides (left/right)? The holes aren't centered vertically so it make a difference which side you put them on.

Yes, I noticed they aren't centered. It doesn't matter which goes where, neither fits but one side is off by more.

I couldn't turn the allen screws either. Loosen the nut on the other end of the shaft. You have to remove the adjusting wheel to get at the nuts. Adjust the brackets and then retighten the nuts.

Wrogers, you were right. I was able to loosen the nuts and adjust the fence backings. Thanks a million! After I got it adjusted, I tried it out and it was worth way more than the $76!!
