    Rigid Vs Grizzly Jointer

I am ready to buy a jointer and would like to know from the folks that own either a Rigid JP0610 or a Grizzly G1182ZXHW your likes and dislikes.

The price difference is not a consideration. I need a machine that will handle light production work on an intermitent basis.

    Thank You

I have the Ridgid and I love it!

I don't know anything about the Grizzly model but I have had the Ridgid for the last 2 1/2 years and I am very pleased with it.

The basic fence and bed designs are similar between the two. The Griz is heavier, has a heavier duty base, stem mounted switch, upgraded handwheels, and longer tables which should make it more condusive to light production work.
