    harbor Freight Impact Driver 18V

I also posted in the bargain forum. Does anyone have any experience with this tool? Is it any good? As with most HF Manuals it looks like it was written by someone in grade school.

    Thanks

...actually, by someone that doesn't speak English.

I don't have direct information, but I once posted to ask about the difference between an impact wrench and an impact driver (because i was wondering about using the one you linked to as a driver) and was told that there is a big difference: the wrench has more torque. I suppose that also means the wrench does not have the forward motion as it twists that would keep the bit from slipping.

If there is something on the order of $30 (the current sale price of that impact wrench) that will work well as an impact driver, I would also like to hear about it.

edit: I may be wrong about the price. I thought I saw that, but now am not sure where.
