    Little gloating going on!

    Well I won an ebay auction! This is something I do not do very often as I do not have the personality for it. Normally I end up getting sniped at the last second and it makes me so angry that I would break the person who sniped me in half if they were close by at that moment. I don’t like that so I normally do not ebay shop.

    Well yesterday was different as there was an old Stanley scraper that I decided I really wanted so I bid on it. Well there was only one guy that kept bidding against me but I finally won out. I know Pappy is going to think I spent too much for it but I REALLY wanted it so I paid $132.50.

    So what do you think Pappy? Anybody know where I can get some more info on this tool?

    This is the description;

    Up for auction is a STANLEY No. 12 Veneer Scraper. The tool is all-original with no repairs or damage. The blade and brass adjustment knob are marked STANLEY with the letters SW inside a heart and MADE IN U.S.A. All parts are in full working order. The 11-inch wide handles are handsome rosewood. Thank you for viewing this auction and good luck with your bid.

    Did you pay more than I would have? Yes.

    Did you pay to much? Not if you are happy with the deal!

    Looks to be in good condition, with about 90-95% of the japanning intact. The blade is near full length and the handles only show minor dings.

        I think you will like that scraper. They are cool to use or just sit on the shelf
