Craftsman Professional 14 in. Band Saw

Anyone have one yet? I know everyone says how great the grizzly is but I was eyeballing this tonight on sale for $455. 8" resaw capacity. 2 1/2 and 4" dust port , 1 HP motor .It looks pretty good. If I had another 10% coupon it would look even better.
just wondering if anyone used one yet....

I have the saw. The 4" dust port and the 2 1/2 are necked down to the point of not being all that useful. I've been thinking of drilling some holes in the plate covering the 4", as I don't see why it's been so cut off from the lower chamber.

The saw cuts well, I'm very happy with it. I have resawed some veneers to 3/32" using the saw. I havn't tried an overly tall resaw yet though. I have also made a bandsaw box with it, results can be viewed here....

So it's quite capable of good cuts in deep material. I got mine for 385$ during an overlap of 2 sales. ( a 3 hour window )
