I got a catalog in the mail today and wonder if the quality is any good, especially on the sanding belts. Prices look good and sometimes items specify that it is Norton.

    3"x25yd roll, 220 grit, $21.00 (Sale listed for 50yd 22 Norton for $30.00)

    3"x21" belts, package of 10, 320 or 220 / $9.00. 180 or 150 / $8.00(sale)

    4"x36" belts, package of 10, 320, 220, or 180 / $16.00

    S&H / $8.00 per order

55 Views and no responses. I will take a closer look at the catalog and website. May try a small order and see if the stuff is any good...Maybe not. See if I can get them on the phone and check them out.

I've ordered paper from them for my ROS. The service was prompt and the pricing was competitive. I have no complaints with the paper either.

Yes, I have used them several times and have always been highly satisfied and on one ocassion I ordered the wrong item and their customer service was only too happy to make me happy. Their catalog is quite extensive too.

The only thing that worries me about belts is the type of joint they use. I hate using directional belts with a lap joint.

I got butt joint belts at their store. 3 x 21 Zirconia belts. Don't know if their AO belts are directional, bi or butt joint (or if they have a selection of each). They are friendly folks and certainly not a fly-by-night, though I can not attest to shipping speed as I went there locally.

They have a lot of closeout deals in store that are not online.

while you guys are talking about the quality of belts. I just got some belts from harbor freight for my 4x36 belt sander and I keep hearing a clicking noise and when I sand I can feel a bump. I just thought that all belts were made the same until I heard you talking about the way that they are joined.
