    Another PC Dovetail question

What's the diff between the 4112 and the 4212? PC has a reconditioned 4112 for about $90 which is $60 cheaper than a 4212. Is there a good reason to spend the extra $$$ and get the newer model?

The 4112 is the older style dovetail jig that does only half blind dovetails. The 4212 does through dovetails and has many other more minor advancements (marks on the finger guides, setup for setting the router bit depth are two I remember). I would definitely go with the 4212. If you only want to do half blind dovetails, I would wait until HF has their jig on sale and pick it up for $30 - it is a bit different from the 4112 but is not worse in its capabilities.

4212 sounds like a better bargain in the long run. I'll go that way.
