    A few throat plates... finally.

Set aside other stuff to catch up on some of the small projects today. Finally got around to making some throat plates for the new saw.

1/2" Baltic Birch play and used 1/2" allen screws for height adjusters -- worked out great.

A touch of sandpaper and some wax and I'll be set for a while with these.

    Not quite finished............

    Nice looking work!
You might want to consider a dado/groove for a splitter to help prevent turning your workpieces into "missles"!

Other than that, looks like really good work.

They look like they will work fine Stan but what are you using for a splitter?

New saw? What did you get Stan? By the looks of the zctp's I see that you have gone to the darkside as well.

Yeah, I need to cut the slot in the back of the standard blade throat plate so the splitter will fit. Guess I should have waited until that was done.

As for the saw Monte, you saw through my thinly disguised gloat It is a Delta 36-717 (Hybrid Cabinet Saw). One of my BT's was torn down to make room, but the other BT will proudly sit side-by-side with the new Cast Iron saw.
