    Ryobi biscuit joiner

I haven't seen any recent talk about the ryobi joiner.
Those who have it, are you happy?
    I can't find the O'Malley up here.
This appears to be the closest to it, possibly same OEM. O'Malley is still way cheaper.

    King Canada also has one

I'd love to buy the PC or Freud but can't justify the $$.
    Thoughts?

I am guessing that O'Malley will not ship north of the border. The Freud was on sale at Amazon for about $80 US last week. It still might be worth a look.

I`ve been using the ryobi biscuit jointer now for about two years........No problems, its been accurate and has done everything I asked of it.......One thing, when I bought the first one, the `face` of the tool, the part that goes against the stock your gonna cut the biscuit groove, has a rubber strip glued to it, I suppose to keep it from moving around on the wood.......Well, the first one had this rubber out of alignment, whether the glue slipped or what , I dont know. I took it back, checked out another one, and the rubber strip was correct, so I took that one home........So far, its been great........

Once again, being Canadian and in this hobby has its drawbacks. Amazon.com will not ship tools outside the US.
Amazon.ca only sells books, CDs, DVD, Software, etc. No hard goods.

I am always very jealous of the HOT DEALS that I see on this website.

HD up here never has sales becaue they have no real competition.

I check e-bay once in awhile, but the deals don't seem to be there on tools.

I have had the King model for the last 3 years and I am very happy with it. It is basicaly the same as DeWalt but a little heavier and not the same fine finish! It needed some initial adjustments but it has been fine since then.

Let me know if you have any specific question.
