    Freud F2200 Router Any Opinons

Just picked up a Freud FT2200 was FT2000E router from Lowes.
It was $189 and with a price match of a 20% HD coupon the total was $151
It was the most powerful plunge router that I could find locally, I need it for router table I just completed. Any opinions about this router would be appreciated.
I usually do a lot of research before I buy tools, but this time I just took the Plunge (no pun inteded) Thanks
    Joe

You sure that's the correct model

I can't find anything on it...not even on Freud's, Amazon's or Lowes websites.

    Sorry.

        Joe,

Still can't find anything on the new one you scored so I don't even know how it differs from the FT2000E however there's been a lot on the 2000 recently.

          Storm,
Thanks for the help!, I think the difference is the 2000 is 220V and 2200 is 110V.

I have that router. Had it for several years now, with no problems. Have it mounted in a router table, and it spins a raised panel bit with no sweat at all.
              I really like it

BTW: It also spins the bit really well when using in wood. ha..

Mine's worked really well for about 4 years now. It's well built and all the features do what they're supposed to. My biggest complaint is that the throat opening isn't large enough to accommodate a 3" panel bit, so I need to use the fence and nibble in when I raise panels.
