Where on Where is a 17/32 drill bit?

I am building some slide out drawers in my router table to hold my router bits and according to the instructions I need this size bit to drill some holes to hold my 1/2 " shank router bits. Problem is I don't think they make that size. Anybody have any idea who makes one or better yet where I might buy one? I guess a 9/16" would work but it would be a little loose I think so would rather have the correct size if possible. I've looked everywhere and no luck.

      Ace has specialties bits

Do you have an Ace Hardware nearby you could check? Last year I was looking for a #44 drill bit (0.086") for a Pinewood Derby car. I checked everywhere (HD, Lowes, Rockler, Woodcraft), but the only place that had it was Ace. They carry a number of specialty sizes, so you might find what you need there.

On a related note, I needed a "letter F" bit a few weeks ago to do some thread tapping. I went to Sears, asked the guy, and he looked at me like I was dumb as a stump. No amount of convincing on my part eliminated the doubt from his voice that drill bits come in anything but fractional sizes... Shesh.

Oddly enough Sears sells taps & dies, but evidently not the proper bits to do the tapping with...

That's the size of a lot of tuning machine pegs, so I needed one as well. I didn't know they were that scarce. I just went down to Menards and bought one. Apparently I got lucky!

Hey thanks rockfish. That site is awesome! It's now in my favorites. I always hate having to ask such trivia questions but sometimes you just got to swallow your pride and ask. So I do. But yeah this site is awesome. Thanks again!

OK thanks guys. I got those marked too. That should tide me over until the cows come home. Appreciate all the replies to a post I even thought was trivia - but necessary. Seems my hunting techniques need some help.
