Jack I'm at work but if I remember right I pretty much followed the directions
that the owners manual showed for attaching it to the Ridgid bandsaw. First thing I did was take it off the stand...getting too old and fat for that much bending over...but be careful it is heavy. I know I used the brackets supplied in the package and I know I removed the rubber feet and I think I just held the bracket flush to the bottom of the original stand marked the holes with a pencil. I centerpunched then drilled the holes in the stand...doesn't hae to be very close at all as you'll see by the way it operates. I got some elevator bolts from Lowes for it to set on but what I can't remember is if I had to drill holes in the bottom of the Herc-u-lift brackes or not...but if ya have to do it now while its off of the stand. I for sure used the supplied spring but had to drill a hole in the stand to attach it.
Real easy to do though and works like a champ. If ya have any more questions or need a few pics just let me know.
