I just had to give the thing a try - UNBELIEVABLE! Not knowing how "accurate" the height gauge was, I set it, and fed thru a piece of 2" x 1" on edge (hardwood). I kid you not - it took off 3/32" without a blink
In fact, it fed so smoothly, and quietly, I thought nothing had happened.
In my extensive experience (so far
), this is definitely an alternative for a blade thicknesser.
More when the stand is completed and all set up...
