PC 333 Orbital Sander Burn Out

I've had this sander for about 3 years and love it - or did - but it has been acting funny by taking a long time to come up to speed and today in the middle of a job it burned out. I think rather than fix it I will buy another, this issue was probably a fluke, plus I have a ton of 5 hole paper left so guess it will be another 333.

I've read about the deals in the Bargain threads but is anyone aware of any deals specfiically on this machine?

Before you get another sander I would check the brushes. I use a speed block, currently sold by PC but mine is a Rockwell - it is that old. I finally had to put brushes in it about a year ago. The other thing I have had to replace is the switch. It might be worth bypassing that. You may be right but it doesn't cost anything to bypass the switch and check the brushes.

Have you tried blowing it out with compressed air? Sometimes these collect a lot of dust inside.
