    Contacting Hitachi?

Does anyone have any info on contacting Hitachi? (preferably a successful call)

I was just looking through the parts that came with my M12V, and noticed that it came with a fine adjustment knob - well - it came in two parts (ugly fracture). I called Amazon, but their response was - try the manufacturer first; if that doesn't work, we can swap the whole unit.

I've been digging around, and have found a few numbers to try tomorrow during business hours, but I just figured I should ask here first - if someone's already been down this road, it'd save time if I wasn't accidentally on hold with say Hitachi hard drives or something

When I received my CB13F, I was missing two small items. Emailed Hitachi, they responded the same day and Fed-Exed my parts the next day. Great service!

Any chance you remember the address you sent the email to?

Thanks! While I was poking around looking for phone numbers last night, I came across Hitachi's power tool website (for the US supposedly) - http://www.hitachipowertools.com/ and right on the main page is a Customer Service link, from which there's a Contact Us link http://www.hitachipowertools.com/con...hp?arrPath=2,1 - I asked them on this page about what I had to do to get a replacement part, figuring - if this wasn't the right spot, someone at BT3 would have an answer today.

Turns out, that was the right spot - I just checked the email account I used and the part's already on its way. The reply I got was from KeriW@hitachi-powertools.com

          Thanks again!
