Penn State Industries (MLCS router bit company) has the saw for $44.95 but wants $7.00 for shipping. It does include 2 carbide bit blades. The HF says that it includes a diamond segmented blade as well as a 40 tooth blade, which is what I saw on display. That 40 tooth blade was not carbide.

I was very impressed with it because of the weight. I too want something that makes small slits or kerfs and have thought about that saw. I, for myself, probably would go with the PSI one for the two carbide blades.

there is a dremel saw like that on ebay. its at 88.00 now. I went to HF today and checked it out. The top was super small, I would use hmwp(is that right, the cutting board stuff) or something else to make a larger table. I could swear that I've seen it for 34.99 before. I may just have to bite the bullet and get it. The PSI model looks almost identical. I will have to check it out. Thanks for the input thus far.

I bought one of them from Penn State for LOML. She has started to make jewelry out of my exotic wood scraps. This little saw cuts ebony and leaves a mirror like finish. 40 teeth is a lot on a 4" blade.

I made a little sled for the saw. I will take a picture and post it tomorrow.

just so you know...Friday is the start of the sidewalk sale and the saw goes for 29.99. Hopefully there will be a new 20% off coupon.
