    Sanding disc source

Where's the best bang for your buck (quality/price ratio) for obtaining 5" 8-hole hook&loop sanding discs? Prices seem to vary quite wildly from the sources I've checked. I'm looking for recommendations from sources people have used that hold up yet are low-cost.

I'll add a little gripe -- I wish places would sell assortments of discs. I don't really want to spend the $$$'s to buy 100+ of every different grit I need right now, but to by less is usually a lot more expensive per disc...

Amazon has Mirka brand abrasives that come highly recommended. Search for Mirka 23-615-AP.... boxes of 50 disks in assorted grits (10 each of 80, 100, 120, 150 and 220 grits). Enjoy.

I've purchased them from Amazon in 20 packs at decent prices.

The Mirka assortment that beetee3 mentioned is a good deal. I got the assortment a year ago and still have most of them. It's a good quality paper, aggressive and doesn't clog easily.
