I remember read a while back that you don't like the delta belt/disk sander. I have two questions:

1: It the belt 1" wide, or is it the wider one, like the ryobi

Let me see if I can help you. Kyle is presently very busy with his school work at the local high school but I know what he was thinking. He and I were out shopping together one saturday morning and we were looking at and comparing sanders. It may well be the fault of the store employees too but the Delta sander did not seem to be as sturdy and as nice as the Ryobi BD4600. The Ryobi was definately much nicer in our opinion for the money. This may well be a case of Delta being priced by their name as well. HTH
