    ... Found some great stuff at Woodpeckers for using the M12V in a table. They've got a great lift setup (Plunge-Lift) that has a model for the M12V. looks much sturdier than a Router-Raizer, and comes with a custom aluminum plate. They've also got a bit extender that will allow the bit to be raised above the table for blade change... /just4funsies
    I was looking at the Woodpecker lift at: http://www.woodpeck.com/plungelift.html#771 for my Hitach MV12...
    OR these --->
    1. Can someone let me know what one gets functionally extra with the lift (~$150) as compared to the RouterRaizer/Rousseau plate ensemble (~$90) ?
    2. If we use the Wookpecker lift, would we still have to follow some of the steps in www.woodshopdemos.com/menu2.htm ?
    3. I have the BT31k and 'am wondering what the disadavantage is to using the router table part of the BT31k ?

    Thanks,
    /venkat

      Sure...I use the Freud FT2000E in my table. I like that I can drop the router down a long way to change bits....I'd like it better if I could easily change them from above the table!

          I don't have facts to back it up but I would not be surprised to learn that the M12v is the most popular router bought for table use.
