    CTT Tools

I have an opportunity to buy a 12 speed flor-standing drill press made by an outfit called CTT Tools. It is a division of the Sandvik Corporation, which I've heard of before but know nothing about.

If anyone is familiar with CTT Tools or Sandvik, can you tell me whether there stuff is any good? The alternative right now would be either a benchtop or low-end floor-standing model from Harbor Freight. The price on this used unit is very attractive at $100, but I'd like to be sure it's a decent qualify machine.

      Poltergeist.

Let's try again. I have an opportunity to buy a well-used, 1985 model, 12-speed CTT tools floor-standing drill press (CF-16) for $100. All I've been able to learn about CTT is that it's owned by Sandvik. Tyring to find out whether the tool would be at least as good as one of the low-end, floor-standing HF drill presses.
