Anyone else getting a bunch of old forum update emails?

I've started receiving a bunch of old forum subscription update emails. Anyone else getting these, or can I blame it on my mail server?

I don't subscribe to threads, but I have been getting a bunch of old Private Message notifications this morning. Oddly, they seem to be arriving in reverse chronological order.

Hmm, I just noticed something that may be a connection, or may just be a coincidence: Alex, the PM notifications I've been getting date back to right about when you gave us the Stylish code to suppress the fund drive banner.

Like I said, could be a coincidence, but in reading the other thread I think at least three of us who have replied here in this thread are using Stylish. Hmmm.

Don't use the stylish here, but I've been getting late PM notifications anyways. Coincidence.

I think I know what it is, It appears to be coming from a test forum. I just got a birthday email with UPGRADE - BT3Central Forums in the text. The automated vBulletin birthday email uses the forum name in the text.

Maybe VB4 is on the horizon.

Yeah, I think that's a coincidence. All Stylish does is change the look and feel a bit after the web page has already been fully retrieved. The server is completely ignorant to it... of course stranger things have happened, so we'll see how it pans out in the end.

I was/am pretty sure it was just a coincidence, but you know the drill with unexplained computer weirdness ... always start by asking, "Okay, what has changed?"

Interesting; but I'm not seeing anything like that in the outdated PM notifications I'm getting. They appear normal in all respects.

It looks like the outgoing mail servers were log-jammed. Details here: http://www.bt3central.com/showthread.php?t=50883

                        Thanks, Black wallnut
