Blank pages with php extension

I've given up figuring this out on my own so here goes- recently my windows install gave up on me. No problem- I reinstall windows and all my stuff.

The sole issue I'm having since the reinstall is that any page in bt3 that has .php somewhere in the address line shows up as a completely gray blank page.

I thought maybe it was the site, but I'm on my work computer now, and it renders just fine.

IE8 and firefox both have the problem. I removed and reinstalled firefox to check as well. Extensions, no extensions doesn't matter. Google was of little help as well.

Well I'm not sure what made me think of it, but it appears that disabling Kaspersky 2010 fixes the problem. A little poking around and it seems that it's the proactive defense portion of the program that's causing the problem.

I posted over there and will report back in case anyone else comes across this issue.
