          Thanks for the welcome, guys.

          And to the admin, I understand your policy here. I am no stranger to message boards, so I can appreciate your aversion to spam and disruptive members. I have been reading the boards some and saw that the first posts have to be approved, so I thought I would get the ball rolling.

          Based on the advice I read here I bought a BT3000 from craiglist in San Antonio. I am interested in building some kitchen cabinets for my house and doing other woodworking projects.

          I have been known to be pretty handy and own a construction related business, so I a feel that I have a good base to build from.

          Thanks for letting me post here. I look forward to learnig from everyone.

                First, welcome aboard. This is a great site with wonderful folks.

                Second, go ahead and fill out your personal information. It will help us getting to know you

                Third, if you are a user of a BT3k or some variant, this place is chock full of information and knowledgeable people.

                There are several sources of information;

                Send Loring Chien (LChien) a PM (with your e-mail address) for a copy of the BT3 FAQ

                Add use the search feature to research any topic, there is a wealth of information already recorded.

                And last but not least ask a question. You will get answers, ranging from expert advice to silly comments but all in good form and spirit.
