    Expanding Avatars

Some of the pics in member's avatars are so small, that it is hard to figure out what's there.

Can we have a feature where you can click on the avatar and get a larger version in a new window?

Isn't the legal term for that "peeping tom"?

The short answer is "no". The forum software is written so that clicking on a user's avatar takes you to the profile page. There is no doubt the code could be modified to do what you request, but it's not a "standard" MOD and therefore would be a hassle to maintain. (The code would have to be changed everytime I upgrade software versions)

Additionally, avatars are limited in size so as to not require a lot of hard disk space. I don't think large avatars would be the best use of disk space.

Go to User CP, then Edit Avatar, then use the Custom Avatar dialog at the bottom of the page.

Or you can use this shortcut.

NOTE: This option is only available to BT3Central Patrons.
