Not sure how to solve it ...

BUT ... I was running a Linksys wired router at home with no problems, then Dad had asked me to test out 2 of the netgears mentioned (he was having other issues), the one netgear that did actually work would cause me to experience the same issues that you are. After discussion with crokett, in the chat, I found out that he's running the exact same router and having same issues. The other evening I went back to the linksys and everything cleared up, so that pretty much proved my theory about my issues (well, the picture related ones anyway ). The Netgear's are going back to Dad, so I won't be messing with them anymore.

You're the 3rd person with same gear and same issues ... I think it's safe to assume that it's a hardware related issue.

I'm curious to see some more replies.

Well, I just did a quick firmware update and no mojo (still doesn't work).

Interesting that I've only had problems w/ that photo hosting site. Never any other sites.

Who is fhauto.com? I googled it expecting to find a bizillion hits and all I find are pretty much references to bt3central members. The whois information doesn't "ring a bell" as a member here either, though.

It's a private gallery hosted on a member's personal servers.

I have a Netgear FVG318 (Wireless VPN Firewall Broadband Router) at home. I have not noticed anything on mine, will double check tonight. Running IE6 on Win2K. I'm also normally attached by wire.

Were you having the problems wireless or wired or both?

So far, it seems to be limited to that WGR614 router, the problems I was experiencing were both thru wired connection and wireless.

Just checked from home, everything is fine. Kind of surprises me that just that one model is a problem, so far. Normally there are several models that are a problem since it is easier to copy a design then to build something from scratch. Must be a combo of things that is causing it. Or there is several other models that we don't know about yet.

The galleries have been moved to a newer server, the gallery software has been updated to the latest version. Please let me know of you still experience problems with the pictures.

I have the WGR614. I was having problems viewing photos on Stan's site. Since he upgraded the server I have not had any more problems.

Thumbnails seem to be okay, but larger pics still get distorted. Not all of them, but a significant portion (half).
