images in user gallery

I notice only now (yeah, i am pretty quick that way ) that there's a 'gallery' in which some of us have put in pics. I also see that 'my' gallery has two pics that I had posted in one of my replies (tho' don't recall uploading to the 'gallery').

Anyway, I see that this gallery is not much used, with barely a handful of pics per user for only a dozen or so users. So is there a limitation on the number of pics, or size of pics? Would it be a better idea to upload pics here instead of attaching thumbnails and then linking in the post?

Hmm, I never really noticed this, either!

I see, though, that it allows files larger than is normal with pics embedded in a post.

Thanks for the info. I went through mine and found 5 or 6 pics that had no lasting value, so deleted them. Wonder how much space we may be using for pics that fall into the same category???

I don't think the gallery is setup correctly yet. Normally images uploaded with posts shouldn't end up in the gallery. I'm sure Sam will get to it as time allows.
