I have had the feeling for some time that this new software isn't always accurate at showing all new posts when asked. Now I'm certain. A post of "Laughing Babies" never showed up when I pressed new posts. Didn't know about it until it was mentioned in another post and I searched for it. Have no idea what the problem might be but I hope I'm not missing useful posts!

From my limited experiments, "new Posts" does NOT obtain new posts - it merely jumps you to the list of new posts available when you logged in. To actually get "new" posts, you have to reload the forum index page. What I do, when done reading a forum, is to use the forum tools and mark the forum read - this gets me back to the forums list and reloads that page in one fell swoop - then any new posts to a forum I've already finished will show up as a forum with unread posts. At a busy time, the forum I've just marked as read will show up as unread
