Changing Thread Titles to reflect content

I seem to be failing in my ability to change the title of a thread. I'd like to edit the title of my thread in the Member Classified section to remove the items that are no longer for sale.

I can change the title of the first post, but I can't seem to find how to change the title of the thread.

It appears that if I choose the "Go Advanced", I'm given the option to change the title (below the "Reason for Editing" space. If I change the title, it shows up in the thread with the changed title, but the change doesn't take efffect in the main forum.


Hmmmmm. . . . okay, now I'm confused. It works here, but not in the Member Classified section.

Any help?

I've had it work in Advanced Mode, even the Preview, but when submitting the change never shows.

It appears that once somebody replies, than the original thread title that appears in the forum can't be changed.

I tried changing this one, and it didn't take.
