Email notification won't stop

I tried out the daily email notification of new contributions to threads to which I'd myself contributed, saw that it worked, and that it was cluttering my email. So, I turned it off ("No email notification"). I continued to get the daily email. I'm now seeing whether turning off subscribing will do the trick.

I guess that's too much of a good thing!

That may only turn off new subscriptions and you may have to kill old ones. I have an email addiction, so I like getting the messages on my Treo when I check email.
