Max,
Sometimes I have a problem matching up Forum names with "real names" that I get from PayPal. Please send me an e-mail with your "real name" and I will adjust your status.

This year with the 2X6 challenge, my name was listed right away for that, so I'm sure that part was fine. I purposely added my forum handle to my annual donation via PayPal, but have yet to receive credit again this year?
It's really not a big deal and I know we've had other more important problems, but some folks are offering discounts for Gold status or above, so I do check it occasionally and still nada?

I had a look at the Support Page, where I found: "A list of patrons is available on the BT3Central Patrons Page. Additionally, each patron is recognized as such directly under their name on every post they make on the BT3Central Forums."
I don't see this happening any more - the legend "Patron" seems to appear only where a patron starts a topic, not when they make any post, as it used to be.
For example, at the time of my posting this, there are two other patrons posting in this topic, but this does not show beneath our names. Patron status no longer appears in the User Profile either. Are there reasons for this?

I just assummed that Sam has been overwhelmed, what with the problems with his hosting service recently. Never thought there could have been another reason like being unable to match up the forum members name with the one from paypal.
The last couple of years I've only given a couple of one time donations per year. I never worried about not seeing 'Patron' next to my name (actually just thought I hadn't given enough to meet the threshold. I see that isn't true now that I look at the Patron Page).
I was able to make a much better commitment to this site this year, but once again, wasn't too worried about not seeing the 'Patron' label.
Anyhow, my (much) belabored point here (sorry) is this, what originally made me give a few dollars when I could was seeing others with the 'Patron' label. It made me aware that I was getting a LOT from this site, but wasn't giving much back. When the guilt got bad enough I would make another isolated donation.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we should try to lay a guilt trip on anyone. That would never fit in with the caliber of members here and I'm not advocating it.
But...if it does happen to give one pause, as it did for me, it could only help to provide support to Sam and this site.
Therefore, I guess I will send Sam an e-mail to help him match my name with my PayPal name.........and Sam....no hurry. You do a great job, and the real reason I've donated anything is to just show my appreciation for this site.
Thank you,

I don't care a thing about recognition, I just wanted to make sure that my money was received. No disrespect taken by me either. Sam does not need to rush on my account either, he has enough to do with this bunch of characters.
