Right now from what I can tell in order to post photos from another url you must use something like below.
"img"http://www.vics-mishmash.com/ebay/tools/hitachi_nr83a_1.jpg"/img"
Due to the nature of this forums scripting I could not give a true representation of this but if you replace the quotations with brackets [] that is how the above photo is posted in the previous post here. Otherwise you get a link like the example is showing. If the url is not complete from beggining to end you get a box with a red "x".
To see it in actual code click on "Forum Code" to the left when you post.
It will be much easier once the forum is setup to host photos and has the user interface which automatically formats the code for the uploaded photos.
