Best of Forum "Making Narrow Rips" no pix

The pictures for this topic do not seem to be available, and I cannot follow the tex w/o the picture. Can you fix this?

    Thom,

Have you tried right-clicking on the red "X" then selecting "View Image"? Works for me on all but the very last of Rod Kirby's three pix, which reports a "Forbidden access" error.

    Ray.

      Thom,

Images linked to in posts are not hosted locally here at BT3Central. If a forum member makes a post but then close their image hosting account, delete their images, or if the hosting company goes belly up, the images disappear. There's not much I can do.

NONE of the pix for this article work. I just tried it again. I understand your concerns, but if you select an article to be in this class/category, I think the pix should be available!

Are you using IE? the pictures are available to me in every browser I have EXCEPT FOR IE!
I can see the picture in opera, netscape 7.1, 7.2, mozilla firefox, mozilla pheonix, and on several linux browsers.

even on a direct link, I cannot see the picture in IE. I would suggest you try another browser like This one cause Internet explorer seems not to do it.

They were available when I moved it into the BOF.

I suppose I only have two choices. I either have to e-mail the owner of the post and ask him to move his pictures off Imagestation, or delete the threads. I'll e-mail Jerry and ask if he can move his images.

I've got I.E. 6.0.2800. I can see Jerry's diagram fine. Rod's are red x's, but I think he used Imagestation back then.

I only use IE, version 6.0.2800 -- cannot see any of the pix.

Just tried again - from work this time - I.E. 6.0.2600 under NT - red x for Jerry's diagram . Left topic and came back in... Jerry's diagram is there [:0], and the first of Rod's three pics show.[?][?]

Isn't technology wonderful? At least Sam's got a fix on the way.
