Problems Posting Pictures - Again!

I went from imagestaton.com to hpphoto.com because imagestation suddenly stoped working. hpphoto.com worked a couple of times but now it only shows the red X. Although, I can post the link to display photo.

SAMPLE the first one is posted as image - second is a pasted link only:

I can display the same images through hpphoto at other discussion forums but not at BT3CENTRAL.

What gives - are my settings incorrect or is security different here???

Mike,

Right-click the red x in your post above and select "properties". If you examine the URL for the pic, you will see that it is different than the correct URL. Specifically, at the end of the URL, the "&size=lg" has been changed to " size lg".

Looks like the forum code doesn't like the '&' and '=' special characters, and strips them out.

One way around this is to use tinyurl: www.tinyurl.com. There you can generate smaller urls from larger ones. I did this with your picture, and it gave me the URL http://tinyurl.com/32nxm. I then used this url to post your picture here:




Not sure if there's a better way, but this does work.

Mike,I have had good luck here http://www.photobucket.com/.
Real easy to do and they will auto resize pictures..
