    How about................

    Hey Sam,

    I was thinking (I know that it's dangerous). That with all the new site support auctions, would it be a big hassle to add another navigation button to point to them.
    Maybe it could point to the auction pages it there are some running or to a little page that stated there are no auctions running at this time and to check back later. It’s been a long time since I’ve done a web page so I don’t know if it’s more hassle than it’s worth. Told you it’s dangerous when I think.
