Sam - Not a "problem", but very irritating

For the last 2 days, as I hop from one BT3 location to another, the left panel "flashes" down center of the screen, before showing me what I clicked on! Have you changed how the screens are sent?

No. I edited some table tags to make the site friendlier to the Safari browser. I don't know if I understand the explanation of the problem...

Let's say I click on a post I want to view - then

      1. main screen area goes white,
      2. Left panel appears down the center of the screen vertically - for about 1 second,
      3. Then I see the post.

This now happens no matter where I go in the BT3Central site

Are you still using Netscape 4.x Rod? I have 4.8 on my machine and it looks fine...

NS 7.1 - with XP Home. No changes on my PC for about 12 months - and this only started happening over the last few days.

Don't worry Sam - no big deal - obviously no one else has the "problem".

Happens to me too - using Mozilla Firebird on a Win2K Pro platform.

Now that you mention it, it happened to me tonight. Just for an instant when firebird started.

                    Sam,

I've seen this problem once <that I noticed it anyway> under IE 6.0 on w2k, I didn't think much of it at the time because I just assumed it was a freak glitch, which it seems to have been under IE because I haven't seen it again. But obviously these guys are experiencing it on different browsers.

                        Rod,
Sorry about the delay in responding - time difference again! I only noticed it since the downtime. However, since Sam's post entitled "Gettin Better" the problem seems to have disappeared. I still get the white screen, but the sidebar doesn't appear in the centre of it now.
Sam - looks like you've cracked it!

                              Sam,

Whatever you did was right on. Not only did you fix the problem you seem to have made page loads faster. Or maybe I'm just a little slower today.
