What is up with the "First Project"thread?

I have tried several time to read it but never can. I just tried. While waiting I read all of the new posts on the Oak, went to the bathroom, played tug-o-war with the dogs, checked some bidding on ebay and the page still had not loaded. Does somebody have REALLY big pics posted?

I don't think it's the size so much as the sheer number. It does take a while to load.
