    Spammers

There seems to be an increasing amount of spammers posting on BT3Central. Is it possiple to delay membership for a week or so?
This may make some of these A*%H&%#s go somewhere else.

What about modifying the forum registration process to include a graphic containig an alphanumeric key that must be manually entered?

I've seen that on a lot of other websites. It's designed to eliminate automated registrations by scum foisting upon us "free" iPods and Chinese carbide masonry drill bits, etc.

I think it's best to not reply to the post so it just goes away.

I think the graphic thing would work good and probably can be added to the code easy enough. Maybe.... The forum code is kinda cryptic.

Perhaps just Sam adding a button "report post" will enable him to find these and delete them quicker.

Personally I do not reply to troll posts.

At 'report' button would be nice.

Looks like one spammer using two different IP addresses. We will soon be rid of this vermin.
