Mobile base on BS, jointer?

Got a Ridgid 14" BS with riser kit for Fathers Day, and a Ridgid 6" jointer for my B-day this month. The LOML spoils me horribly (gloat :-)

Problem - they both have to be mobile in my small shop area. Seems to me the jointer could mount on a General mobile base OK, but what about the BS? Unstable due to height and center of gravity? Anyone done this? Other options?

my Grizzly is mounted on a shop made base. Left side is on non-swivel casters and the right side sits on leveling feet when lowered off the casters. Adds a little over an inch of height to the table but that's not a problem for me.

Same type base under the HF Jointer but with caster lifts/leveling feet on both ends.

The Woodcraft retractable casters don't add any height and can be installed with the bandsaw sitting on the floor. Use these for my BT3k and they work fine.

I have my Grizzly G0555 on a mobile base (only tool in the shop that is truly mobile), and have not found instability due to the high C-of-G to be a concern. You wouldn't want to be playing Indy 500 around your shop but if you take it slow and easy, you'll have no problems at all.

I put the Ridgid jointer on a mobile base. Works great, if you extend the base a little on the back side. Otherwise, it can be tippy towards the rear with the fence shoved all the way back. I plan to use a similar setup on my Ridgid bandsaw.

My Grizzly 14" bandsaw with a riser is on a mobile base. No problems with stability. It's really nice to be able to roll it back against the wall when I'm done with it.

I just used the cheap HTC base from Amazon. I think it's about $42. Works fine.

I have both my Jet 14" (with riser) and my Jet 6" jointer on HTC2000 mobile bases. The BS is not overly tippy.

My favorite is the Shop Fox Heavy Duty (Woodcraft #140240). I have one under my Jet 14" BS (no riser block) and my Jet 16" DP (very top heavy). Both are very stable and only raise the tool about 1 1/2". They list for $69.99 but when I bought the DP Woodcraft had them on sale for $49.99.
