    Sneak peek

Here's a shot of the soon-to-be-temporary RedNeck Work Shop. Temporary, because as soon as money allows, the final version will be built in the back yard. But, as you can see, I won't have any complaints working in 400 sqft after being in 160 for so long. Work is progressing quite well on the house.

All the brickwork is now finished, all the dry wall is installed and all the seams have been taped and given the first couple coats of mud.
We locked our rate in last Monday so we will be moving in 53 days or less (I'm betting on less)!

Looking real good Larry. You should have plenty of room for a shop there.

Looks more like a house then a shop. Oh wait, I get it. You designed your shop to look like a garage then added a house to it. Genious.

Thanks for all the kind words fellows. LOML and I are both very excited. The "shop" has been used as a shop all ready! The finish carpenter set his tools up in "my shop" when he trimmed out the house. We've now hit the point where the builder is locking the house at the end of the day. Moving day is inching closer!

Actually Monte, the answer to that question is no. Since my son and his wife are moving into the current house when we move out, I don't have to be in much of a hurry to move the shop.
I want to coat the garage, er...shop floor with that epoxy paint before I move my tools in. Also, there are going to be some stuff I have to finish at the old house after we move out so it makes more sense to move the shop last.
LOML, on the other hand has been packing since January when we signed the contract! I can't find diddly in the house, everything is in boxes.
