After several months I finally have the shop setup to where I feel I can start a real project instead of building a stand to put a tool on.I have not done anything but build stands and a work table so far. N

ow I'm ready for some real projects as soon as I get some rest. Age does catch up with you. Thanks to this great forum and all the advice and tips offered I am comfortable with all my tool selections. The space is one half a two car garage, kinda tight but workable. It's only a start but looking forward to many enjoyable hours of making sawdust. Now if I only had some wood

Nice looking shop! It seems we never quite finish our shops either. I'm always building a new cabinet or more shelving for mine.Monte (another darksider)

Very nice, I know you'll enjoy working in there. The main thing I see in your shop that I wish was in mine is SPACE :-) I too have been building stands(mobile in my case) for all my tools so I can try to find room to work in a 10'X12' building. Think I've made it but I'd sure love to be able to work without moving tools.
Post pics of your finished projects.

This is a very timely post. I'll be moving in about 60 days and the garage will become my temporary shop. I see a lot of good ideas here.
How does the plane like sharing the shop? Is dust and heat/cold a problem? LOML insists my helicopter will go to the garage, but I'm fighting that whether I win that battle is yet to be seen!).Larry R. Rogers
