Tomorrow I start moving from the basement shop to the new one! I still have some final wiring to do in the new shop, but all that is putting in receptacles, hanging lights, etc. I will do that work at night during the week.
Woohoo! Moving Day!

So, how is your back? Gotta, ask, what is the basement going to be remodeled into?
I have to include myself with those who are jealous, not so much of the shop but of the wife who said you should go get it. Shops are easy to find, but a wife like that, now she is a keeper!

My back is fine. Most everything is moved. Not really set up but but at least it is moved. there a few odds n ends - cutoffs, etc that still need to move. I will update the new shop thread tomorrow evening with pics.
The old shop will eventually be remodeled into a proper laundry room, small storage room for paint, etc and a downstairs bathroom.David

I've already got that. Because of my MIL's illness they are here 6mos sooner than expected. Moving day was yesterday whether I liked it or not because in the next couple weekends my FIL and I are going up to Indy to move the rest of their furniture, etc here. However, this weekend and next we are putting the dropped ceiling in their 'suite' downstairs and putting down real flooring as opposed to the rubber that is down there now.
The shop work will all happen at night. Not that big a deal - I've been doing that for the last month anyway.David

congratulations on the move going so well...
wish me luck, I am starting my garage into shop remodel... going from something just thrown together when I moved in, into something where I get to build my own shop furniture, and get it the way that I want it
