Just back from the manufacturer...

"Hi Rod,
I haven't been in touch with the mill yet, intend to email them later this session. The glue is white in colour so any problems will show up. The glue is manufactured in Germany.
The machinery was made in the USA. The thicknesser is 6 foot wide and can be heard in ****. The hydraulic laminating machine photographed is 8 foot long and another laminating machine (not shown) is 12 foot long.
The laminating machines were not fully assembled when I took my photos.
I have included jarrah slab photos as I thought they would be of interest.
The 75 cubic metre kilns can take them easily. The lengths from memory are around seven metres long - roughly 24 feet long. They would make brilliant bar tops. Any pub installing one would need more drooling mats than beer coasters.
We watered the slabs to show the colour to expect upon finishing. If you look closely you may pick up that the wood has aged to the stage where it has come under attack from borer etc which adds more interest. Again from memory the slabs were cut about 100mm thick.
Cheers for now, Chris"
